No Fur

So, we ended up having the bunnies for like a month. What a disaster. You think I would know better than to try and take on a whole extra responsibility right before I am about to have a new baby. I have done this with each pregnancy and it has always ended in heart ache. Fortunately, after about a month of the bunnies and all of the extra cleaning chores, the kids were not finding much joy in them either.
It wound up that one bunny was male and the other female. Let's just say that the female really needed to hire a bunny body guard to keep her safe. God provided this super sweet lady who works at Tractor Supply to adopt them and keep them on her farm. We went to visit Drover and Snuggly a few months back and let me tell you, those little hip hoppers are living large.
This will be the official last entry on our Furry Friends blog. I think I have earned my lesson.
Love,
Amy

Really cute high tech lawnmowers

Rich decided that he needed some help with the chore of lawnmowing this summer. :O) Dante and Rich put their heads together and were able to assemble a nice little area where the quick hopping bunnies could enjoy some outside time.

The bunnies arrive

Due to some troubles the bunnies were having in their cage, they were brought inside for protection. This caused them to wean about a week earlier than expected which meant that we could separated them from their mama sooner. Sooooooo, this caused the boys to believe that that was a sign that we should bring them home a week earlier than planned. After much debate, Rich decided we would purchase a premade hutch from Petsmart. They have provided total entertainment for all of the children, including Franklin, the dog. They are very sweet and social so they fit right in. I will keep updating with the cutest photos ever...Enjoy.
